| The Boat Works at Shackamaxon is the recent spin off of the repair business of Sykes Racing North America. We still warehouse most of their boats in Philadelphia, but the separation enabled several changes in our business focus. One of those is to repair and resell badly damaged boats of different makes. We are first and foremost a rowing boat repair business, and while we'll work on all makes of boats, our experience is primaily with overseas boats like Sykes, Filippi, and Empacher hulls. The construction materials used and methods are very similar, and the overseas nature of the fabrication means there is an obvious need for local service.

| Tom received his earliest training in boat repairs at the Sykes Racing factory in Geelong, Australia. He has been doing repairs as part of the rowing boat business since 2003. His understanding of the materials -- their mechanical properties and how they perform -- and his five years of repair experience make him a knowledgeable source on repairs and repair techniques. He most enjoys working on serious damage where he can utilise his experience making moulds and building boats. Still the most enjoyable stage is the final finishing work when the boat doesn't show signs of ever having been broken in two. |

| Tony started working with rowing boats in the winter of 2008. He brought with him a lot of mechanical know how from both automotive and home improvement trades. He's not sure what part of actual repairs that he enjoys the most, but it's apparent when you meet him at the shop that his favourite aspect of the job is meeting customers. |
